Started reading “Badass: Making Users Awesome” by Kathy Sierra, and am completely loving it.
Was almost 80 pages in, when I realised I should stop just reading, and start studying/note taking, as there is so much I have read, I barely recall little about.
The book is about how to think about making a better product. Product can be a phone, a guitar, a website, the lessons are quite widely applicable.
It goes into analysing what makes a product “sustained bestseller” vs “not successful”. How to minimise the role of luck in success of a product?
